Rates, Insurance, and Confidentiality

My purpose as your therapist is to work with you so that you are able to overcome the problems that may be keeping you from reaching your desired goals, and to assist you in attaining positive relatedness with yourself and others. Your process in therapy requires that you feel safe at all times-that you experience complete confidentiality within a non-judgmental environment.

Insurance

In order to process an insurance claim I am required to give you a “mental diagnosis.” I feel that this could, now or in the future, jeopardize your confidentiality, your job, or alter the cost of your insurance.

Therefore, I DO NOT ACCEPT insurance.

Rates

My fee is $90.00 per the standard 50 minute hour. My clients pay at the end of each session. I try to set up a weekly or bi-weekly appointment that is reserved just for you so I can accommodate your schedule.

Confidentiality

Unless it is a legal necessity, the anonymity of my clients is always protected.

Exceptions: Under the following conditions, California State law mandates that mental health professionals report:

• When a client threatens suicide, harm to another person(s) including murder, assault, physical harm or destruction of property.
• If my client(s) disclose suspected child abuse, elder abuse, or abuse of a dependent adult, I am mandated to report to authorities.
